My research focuses on how the brain represents the space around us. Such neural representations are critical to many routine motor behaviors such as guiding where we look and reach. Importantly, we are finding that they are critical for an array of higher level cognitive abilities such as memory, attention, and executive control. For more details see the lab’s research mission.
