If you want to be in one of our studies...
We are almost always running studies. However, there are some prerequisites, and not everyone is eligible to participate. All participants must be 18 years of age or older. Good physical and mental health are a requirement for all studies. Other than that, the requirements depend upon the type of study.

All of our current studies fall into one of two categories: Eyetracking and MRI. The prerequisites for eyetracking studies are fairly basic. You must have good eyesight when not wearing glasses or hard contacts (soft contacts are okay). Some eyetracking studies may have additional requirements.

The prerequisites for MRI studies are more demanding. Since an MRI is basically a big, powerful magnet, nobody with any metal in their body (e.g. metal plates, metal pins, some artificial joints) should get anywhere near an MRI, which of course precludes participation. Likewise, the MRI may affect various types of electrical, mechanical or magnetic implants (e.g. pacemakers, cochlear implants, bone growth stimulators), so people who have these should not participate. Pregnant women should not participate. Individuals who are claustrophobic may participate, but should be aware that they will be placed in a narrow, dark, noisy tube for an extended period of time. MRI studies may also have additional prerequisites depending on the particular study.

If you are interested, and you meet these criteria, feel free to send us an e-mail.
