Post-Doctoral Position Available in Curtis Lab
The Curtis Lab has a new post-doc position in neuroimaging open.
New York University’s Department of Psychology, and affiliated Center for Neural Science and Center for Brain Imaging, has a postdoctoral position available in the laboratory of Dr. Clayton Curtis, Ph.D. Research will focus on the role of the frontal and parietal cortices in spatial cognition, including memory, attention, and action. The position offers training and research opportunities (typically for at least 2 years) among a vibrant cognitive neuroscience community using cutting edge methodological approaches including fMRI, eye-tracking, TMS, and scalp and intracranial EEG.
Desirable qualifications include: (1) excellent academic training in the area of spatial cognition and more broadly neuroscience and/or psychology; (2) experience with neuroscience methods, such as those listed above; (3) good computing and programming skills; (4) quantitative and/or statistics experience; and (5) the independent scientific writing, e.g., a promising publication record.
